About the technique
An acrostic hides information in initial characters, words, or lines. The visible prose can remain fully readable while a positional extraction rule carries a second message.

An acrostic is text in which selected initial letters or words form a secondary message.
It can function as linguistic steganography when the secondary message is intentionally concealed inside ordinary text.
